Had car serviced there before, and had a call telling me all the things that “needed” to be done within 45 mins. Could have set my watch to the call with the same message second time around. Took the car to another mechanic soon after the first service, many of the items that “needed doing urgently” were not required, and got some items done at a fraction of the cost. Even if they were trying to do the right thing second time around, first impressions last, particularly when people talk a lot but don’t necessarily listen.
